Reduce redness and inflammation
at Rejuvenate
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that affects people of all ages and genders. It often manifests as pre-rosacea symptoms such as flushing, blushing, thread veins, and pimples. We offer a range of treatments to effectively help with the management of this condition.
What are the early stages of Rosacea? While the early stages of rosacea may be characterised by intermittent flushing, prolonged exposure to triggers can lead to more intense facial redness that resembles sunburn or windburn. Additional symptoms may include the appearance of broken blood vessels and red bumps in the affected area. In severe cases, permanent redness, swelling, and burning sensations may occur. Although the exact cause of rosacea is unknown, research suggests that a genetic predisposition to skin sensitivity triggers may play a role in its development.
Exposure to UV light is believed to be the primary cause of the condition in individuals with sun-sensitive skin, but other triggers such as exercise, chemicals, environmental factors, metabolic changes and dietary factors like spicy foods and alcohol can also contribute to its onset. We offer a range of topical products and treatment protocols that are specifically designed to address these triggers and control and build tolerance to rosacea over time.
Our Synchrorose Three product system is the core treatment option for rosacea and is available for order exclusively at our clinic. Additionally, our TEBISKIN® products can be used in combination with Mandelic acid to address rosacea and thread veins and provide a refreshing summer peel for skin rejuvenation. All of our protocols have been thoroughly researched and evaluated by leading dermatological research centres throughout Europe.
Rosacea Treatment benefits
Mandelic acid peels have proven to be a successful treatment for rosacea. Firstly, mandelic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) with a larger molecular size than other AHAs, such as glycolic acid. This slow and gentle penetration makes it ideal for individuals with sensitive skin, as it is less likely to irritate.
- Mandelic acid has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce redness and inflammation associated with rosacea.
- Mandelic acid has antibacterial properties that can help reduce the number of acne-causing bacteria on the skin.
- Mandelic acid can help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by rosacea by gently exfoliating the top layer of skin.
- Mandelic acid is less likely to cause irritation or side effects than other AHAs, making it a good option for those with sensitive skin or rosacea.
